Core Competence

• BY PLANE

  The best way to get from Munich’s Franz Josef Strauss Airport to Core-Competence GmbH is to take a taxi or to use the public transportation system.

  The distance by taxi from Munich Airport is about 29 kilometers, and the drive normally takes about half an hour. The fare is slightly more than € 40.

  Two S-Bahn suburban railroad lines (S1 and S8) depart from Munich Airport. Both lines take you to Marienplatz. S1 takes about 48 minutes, and S8 about 38 minutes. From here take the U6 subway (to Studentenstadt) and bus # 180 (see By train). The public transportation ticket costs about € 9.

• BY TRAIN

  From “Hauptbahnhof” (Munich Central Station) take the suburban railroad S-Bahn (lines S1 to S8) to “Marienplatz” (two stops, 5 minutes). Change here to subway line U6 (in the direction of Fröttmaning/Garching). Stay on the train for 8 stops until you reach Studentenstadt (11 minutes). From here take bus # 180 (in the direction of Wallnerstraße/Dirnismaning). Get out after four stops at “Josef-Wirth-Weg” (4 minutes). From here walk in the same direction for about 100 meters. The offices of Core-Competence GmbH are to the right. The ticket from Hauptbahnhof costs €2.20.

• BY CAR

  Exit the Munich-Nuremberg motorway (A9) at Munich-Freimann. If you are coming from Nuremberg, make a left at the end of the exit into Heidemannstrasse. If you are coming from Munich, make a right into Heidemannstrasse. After about 500 meters there is a “T” intersection leading to Freisinger Landstrasse. Make a left here. After about 600 meters you will see the offices of Core-Competence GmbH to the right.
